Tear down аnd build up οf Colt type 1911 45ACP pistol. Firearm failed аftеr Appx. 40K rounds. Thіѕ required a nеw slide аnd a frame οff rebuild.Top level overview οf thе rebuild, description οf раrtѕ used, Fusion remarketed slide etc.

@dingumfCallofDuty He did this after firing 40,000 rounds.? I’d say that’s minor maintainance considering how high that digit is.

fantastic video !! i am waiting for my parts from midway to start my assembly. But i noticed you? sanded the actual trigger on the gun i by no means realized how the small things like that can help in the feel and function of the gun.

Cool video. Its incredible how many parts are on the gun when you have them all laid out like that.
Can you provide some detail on the trigger guard? I have by no means seen that before and it looks like it goes over the existing guard. Is it aesthetic only or does? it have a function. Thanks!

Very excellent video. I want to see your opinion on each component and thoughts about aftermarket parts. I lost my Kimber Grand Raptor II and now want to build a 1911 ground up.
