EXE files can be added directly to Media Center Studio. Simply follow this guide, but instead of using Prism, skip ahead to making the new Access Point. For the Path, just point it to the EXE you want…In my case, firefox.exe. Works Fantastic with Google Earth and the traffic reports!!

FYI – The Logitech Bluetooth Mediaboard Pro for PS3 works fantastic with Media Center.
It is what I currently use.
You can get it on Amazon for around $60 US.

Use F11 to go fullscreen after launching. In Prism, I have noticed that when you set a particular site up, it will adopt your browser’s settings…for example, I use firefox. When I configure a site, I be sure to set my zoom level ahead of time in the browser, then make? the Prism app. Once the app is made, set properties to maximized, then use F11 to go fullscreen. beating the navigation is done via the Prism setup. Experiment, and rub out/recreate the Prism apps as you like.

Try the facebook “Silverlight Desktop Client” this interface is super-cool using this trick! – (note that maximize doesn’t work for me, but it’s a small price for a fantastic interface)

It is one of the instrumentals from “Musicshake” found in the Youtube libraries…cannot remember the name, but look at the ones that are around 5 mins long…(i’m pretty sure, at least)

What song is playing in the background?

  • auldthief:

cool! did this for orkut, facebook and reader! MCE crashed after background up in MCE studio and I had to restore the ehres.dll file.
    Can u help me with
    1. Launching apps in fullscreen mode without the window chrome? like in f11 mode for firefox?
    2. The Window doesn’t launch in fullscreen mode even though I selected the the desktop shortcut properties for the same. Even when I maxilise it once, the next time, it again runs in normal mode.

    Thanks for a fantastic tutorial!
