Thank you for the comment . . . it was vital to me to call out the overall shape or silhouette as well as draw contrast in the area by using a complimentary color in a graphic flat way that also points more attention to the detailed oriented mass of the character shape. Phew . . that was a lot of jibber jabber.

This is my favorite pen and it’s permeant, making it very VERY simple to use a wet medium laid over it to end off an illustration. I highly urge it and can’t say anything in higher praise.

The paper I used for this video is really vigor paper (unpunched) and is a fantastic surface to work on. I would urge any paper that can absorb a bit of punishment from the markers, which are all PrismaColor Markers in this demo.

By the way, do you need special marker paper in peacefulness to draw with a marker? Cuz normal paper would bleed eh? Oh and I didn’t catch it if you said so, but what markers are they?
