The Content Alliance
Initiated by Cisco Systems in August 2000, the Content Alliance was
formed to foster the interoperability of independent Content Delivery
Networks (CDNs). By accelerating the adoption of standards, the Content
Alliance aims to more rapidly expand the market for content networking
services. To date, over 100 service providers, technology providers,
and content providers have joined the Content Alliance.
