www.youtube.com Hello, I’m Maureen McGeehan from DuPont Surfaces and welcome to the 2011 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. The KBIS Show offers us a unique opportunity to share our newest colors and products with retailers, designers, and the industry press. This year, we’re excited to launch 13 new colors of Corian® solid surface and Zodiaq® quartz surface. The new colors blend all of the ingredients of a great meal — diversity of color, attention to detail, and great taste. Inspired by the rich and varied hues and textures of spice, our new colors of Corian® and Zodiaq® will stimulate the senses and add a touch of spice to kitchens and baths. It’s something we call the Spice of Design and it can be seen in many of the inspirational vignettes at this year’s booth. This vignette combines a custom formed counter in Corian® Hazelnut with glass cabinets and aluminum trim for a sleek, modern look. The countertop and backsplash both feature a unique curve and square edge. The ability to customize Corian® is also highlighted in this kitchen sink in blue spice. The sink includes a perforated sliding surface in silverite to create additional work space when needed. This one of a kind kitchen combines two Zodiaq® aesthetics – Chickery and Bianca Carera to create a dramatic statement. The same colors are carried through to create a backsplash and custom shelving above. This master suite vanity features a Zodiaq® countertop in Caraway with a back beveled edge.
